McLean County Annual Picnic 2019

The 9th Annual McLean County Republican Picnic was a great success despite the weather.  We were fortunate to find a wonderful indoor location which allowed us to keep all the elements for this fun event. Thankful for our special feature, Vanessa Horabuena, a performance artist from Arizona.  Her presentation was courtesy of State Representative Keith Sommer.  Door prizes, Bean Bag Tourney and a live auction were just some of the activities. We heard from two gentlemen who are vying for the Republican nomination to run for U.S. Senate against Dick Durbin in 2020: Tom Tarter and Mark Curran. We were also very pleased to have both our U.S. Congressmen Darin LaHood and Rodney Davis present.  Darin introduced our keynote speaker Congressman Tom Emmer, Chairman of the Republican Congressional Committee.  They all spoke to the importance of our staying strong and winning votes in 2020.

Thanks to the following McLean County Republican officials who attended this event:

State Senator Bill Brady

State Representative Dan Brady
