The following activities are now being planned for the next several months. Details are still being worked out for some events but put these dates and times into your schedule so you won’t miss them.

  • Saturday, April 27—Support Desi Anderson. Here is a chance to join a worthwhile and very important campaign to help Desi Anderson get elected to the 91st legislative district seat in the Illinois House! Attend the Day of Training/Day of Action this Saturday, April 27, at 10:00 a.m. at LVL UP Coffee Bar, 107 Mall Drive, Normal. Desi is running against first-term incumbent Democrat Sharon Chung, a strongly progressive Democrat who does not share conservative values. Questions or RSVP, contact Jake Ford @ 309-738-1022

  • Wednesday, May 8—Support Judge Joe McGraw. Come on out to Lil Beaver Brewery to support Judge Joe McGraw's campaign for Congress. Judge Joe is the Republican Candidate for the Illinois 17th Congressional District, which includes much of McLean County. Judge Joe recently retired after 21 years on the bench and is ready to use his experience for us in Washington. You can learn more about Judge Joe on his website at judgejoeforcongress.com. Judge Joe is running against incumbent Democrat Eric Sorensen, a strongly progressive Democrat who does not embrace traditional conservative values. Actually, it's anything but!
     

  • Saturday, May 11—Roundtable Breakfast with Congressman Darin LaHood. 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Location TBA. For Premier MCGOP dues-paying members only. Want to attend?   • Friday, May 31—Springfield Legislative Update. Join us for comments by senators and representatives who work in Springfield. The only thing required for this no-cost event is to RSVP and bring your own lunch. Coffee, lemonade, and ice water will be provided. We will be meeting at Freedom Baptist Church, 2004 Fox Creek Road in Bloomington, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Be sure to let us know that you are coming by RSVPing through this link.
