Jesse Sullivan will speak with people of faith during a breakfast event on March 9 in Bloomington. Sullivan, who ran as a conservative Republican candidate for governor of Illinois in 2022, will speak on the questions of "Can people of FAITH have an IMPACT on the world of POLITICS?" and "Should they?" (Click on the title above to continue reading if necessary.)
People of faith are invited to listen to Jesse as he speaks during the Saturday morning breakfast. During his talk, Sullivan will describe the foundation of his religious beliefs and how they motivated him to embark on a new path for Illinois.
Jesse Sullivan describes himself as "Christian first." He is a husband and father of seven. He is the founder and General Partner of Alter, a global tech venture capital firm. His background includes service as a DoD Counterinsurgency Analyst in Afghanistan. He is a Presidential Leadership Scholar and holds a Master's degree in Global Governance from Oxford and a Stanford MBA.
Though the McLean County Republicans are sponsoring this breakfast, it is a “non-partisan” event where people of faith throughout the county are invited to join in the conversation on this important topic.
The event will run from 9 to 11 AM, with the doors opening at 8:30 AM. A pre-paid ticket is required to attend this event. Details and event links are on the Republicans' website under Future Events. Please note that there is a special invitation for clergy.
