The McLean County Republican Party is thrilled to announce its Annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner, set to take place on Tuesday, September 10, at DoubleTree Hotel & Conference Center in Bloomington. This gala event will begin at 6:30 p.m., with a pre-dinner meet-and-greet reception. This premier fundraising and awards extravaganza will feature keynote addresses by two prominent conservative leaders: State Representative Darren Bailey, the former Republican candidate for Illinois governor in 2022, and Kathy Salvi, the current chair of the Illinois Republican Party. Keynote Speaker State Representative Darren Bailey: Known for his unwavering commitment to conservative principles, Bailey has been a staunch advocate for fiscal responsibility, individual liberties, 2nd Amendment rights, and traditional values throughout his political career. As the 2022 Republican gubernatorial candidate, he energized the conservative base across Illinois. His topic is “There is Hope for Illinois.”

Special Guest Speaker Kathy Salvi: Salvi is a Mundelein-based conservative political leader with decades of experience upholding the Constitution, grassroots politics, fundraising, empowering women, and a passion for uplifting others to make a difference in our communities. As a U.S. Senatorial candidate in 2022, Salvi significantly impacted the political landscape in Illinois. Now serving as the chair of the Illinois Republican Party, she continues to champion the values of limited government, free markets, and strong national defense. She will be speaking about “The Future of Our GOP.”

Both speakers will underscore the critical importance of securing victory in the 2024 presidential election and discuss the long-term implications of the upcoming political battles.

The McLean County Republican Party invites individuals and organizations to join as co-sponsors for this event, which promises to be an evening of inspiration, strategy, and fellowship among conservatives dedicated to the future of our nation. The event will feature a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle, and a Second Amendment raffle. Immediately after the conclusion of the event, the Trump-Harris presidential debate will be live streamed.

In addition, there will be award presentations, including the Freedom Award, Republican of the Year Award, Precinct Committeeperson of the Year Award, and the Legacy Award. Those in attendance will have a golden opportunity to meet award winners and several Republican candidates running in the autumn election. In addition, there will be a private reception for Kathy Salvi from 4:30-6:00 p.m. before the main event starts.
